I wasn't sure were to put this seeing I couldn't find an Italian thread. Does anyone have any clue where I can start to build an Italian uniform of standard infantry, not African theatre.
One places called the history bunker or something does the base uniforms but where would I get insgina, helmet, equipment and stuff like that.
Appreciate any help
Members dcheetham89 and Wladek put together cracking Italian kit a couple of years back, they will probably be able to point you in the right direction
Have to tried Hiki - http://www.hikishop.com/wwii-italy-unif ... 0_191.html

Japanese
Yep, as Russell said, Hiki is pretty spot on.
Thanks all for the help Time to start to brush up on my Italian
If you find anywhere that does the Folgore uniform, do give us a shout! I need to bankrupt myself in another uniform I'll wear once every three years.
Hiki is where I got mine, it's a really nice uniform, I got m37, so I could use it for early war but m40 got more use.
It's nice to see someone else interested!
The belts, bayonet and magazine pouches are Available on eBay, same with gas mask bags. I got loads off Italian eBay too. Helmet wise you can use a Bulgarian helmet as they are identical, cheap and many, where as the Italian m33 is not
I have a nice Post War italian M33 helmet if anyone interested, has some decals on it which I doubt are original but still very nice.
Thanks

Pegasus Militaria do Folgore smocks and Samurai vests, one or both of those coupled with Hiki's M41 uniform would have you on the right track.
