just got some cheep m43 trousers from an ebay seller called aviator 2046 and im pretty pleased with them ,there not quite a perfect colour match for the jacket i've got but im guessing that that was a real life thing during the war anyway so not a problem but i do have a few questions.
firstly the trouser legs are'nt hemmed and nor is the waist band,now these arears are never seen but is this authentic or just cheepness showing?
secondly the trouser legs have white tapes that come out the bottom that end in two strips that look like they should tie up to something but i dont know what?
last the serge material is thiner compared to the sof brit stuff i've got ,it looks strong though just thinner is that right?

I just bought a pair of M43 just because I know they wont match. 
You are fine with miss matched colours. Even if they did match when issued they wont after a couple of months use even out of combat.
Un-hemmed was not universal through the period of manufacture I think. Mostly seen it on waist bands. So again you are fine.
The white tapes form stirrups to keep the trousers in your boots/gaiters. There should be a hole each side of the vent in the bottom of each leg? I do one thin tape through each.
By '43 the wool content was way down so thin looking wool is also not a bad thing either.
