im about to sell off this splittermuster camo helmet cover and have noticed a nazi symbol printed very small on the inside, it could simply be the cover is a repro and this is a company brand but though i better check as it seems a bit unusual. i bought this from america and dont remember from whom or wherether it was repro or real. if anyone can shed any light then i can sell it off under the correct description. cheers. john.-- attachment is not available --

Looks to be a repro' from an English speaking country, or a country that's trade is to English speaking countries as the writing is a company name with "...Ltd" at the end. Looks something like "W something something LTD" - WPG Ltd or something similar perhaps?

If you got it from the US, what McV said would make perfect sense - WPG is What Price Glory, a US-based firm.

Yeah, strictly speaking WPG don't do German repros, do they? But they might previously have, or could be another company that begins with "W".

As a side note, WPG mark their repro' Brit' kit with "WPG Canvas Co." to make their makers stamps look similar to original gear :)

Repro and it looks like a waffenampt stamp to me.
As out of place on a helmet cover as a fish on a bike I think, RB number would be more fitting.
WPG have never done German kit as far as I know and are not limited.

A picture of the whole cover would help too.
It does look, in that small photo, like very new cloth.
How many bits/panels is it made from?

its a splittermuster cover with folage loops for adding grass and branches to, 3 pieces of material with a nice draw string to pull it tight onto the helmet. i have never actually used it but its been on my helmet for a few months which i havent yet worn during a game.-- attachment is not available --

Very definite it's a repro.
The original covers were made from 5 panels of cloth not the 3 of many repros.
