Sorry I missed this one Guys.. .. Looks as though a good time was had by all !
...SNOW !!. ... not a drop up here !....... Look forward to any Pic's you may have taken.
After a 24 hr shift at work, my body clock is now all to foook ! Will take most of next week to get back to normal !
I had a good day today. It was good to see and talk to people after what's been a while for me. We had a very constructive discussion and a some fun to boot. I was surprised we got so much done to be honest and those who couldn't make it missed a constructive day! The snow turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise, the kit guide photos should be really good.
For once, there was a serious lack of cameras except for C-W's! My Brother took a couple on his camera phone before the battery died, apologies for the low quality but they look pretty atmospheric!

Can't wait for the CW pics *HINT* *HINT*
Aye be great to see them when Daves ready.

Fingers crossed then - the Soldbuch pics are fine but the other microdrive has corrupted itself. I'm running a recovery at the moment, hope not too much damage - the disc is heading for the bin afterwards. For those that don't know, Microdrives are minute hard drives build to the CompactFlash format - real spinning disk and flying head!, which I have 'cos when digital first became usable professionally solid state memory was very expensive and not available in large capacity. Cheap as chips now though so the discs must go!
Dam! Thats a blow as those snow pics looked awesome.
Hope they survive

Fingers crossed they turn out ok as the kit was top notch and the setting a "one off". Also, my Brother looked scarily like Clint Eastwood in "Where Eagles Dare" and would love to see some pics of himself!

Here are a couple I pulled off before I realised there was a problem with the disk...
Those are brilliant C-W! I hope some others have survived.

Great pics, Dave. I especially like the ones where guys are wearing parkas, very atmospheric indeed.
I don't think your camo is going to work on the ostfront, Herr Gadge...

Wow!!.. Pictures are Great !!...well done everyone !!....more please !!...really good,...kit looks excellent, the backdrop superb !!...just a tad of snow really sets the mood !
Thought I'd better post up the outcome of our informal "meeting"!
Basically, those present represented an acceptable majority of the founders of Hohenstaufen and KG SS. It was decided that,
1) The kit list is both affordable AND inclusive, offering a wide range of kit options so that noone is tied to a particular "look" or supplier.
2) That we will implement, as near as possible, realistic period tactics as soon as we have the MG situation sorted.
3) New members will be helped and guided from day one, with "loaner" kit available on a limited basis if required.
4) That, as a group, we will organise, alongside other groups such as PBI, our own themed games as well as attending CIA games (where we will be under the command structure of CIA).
5) To promote WW2 airsoft as widely as possible as a fun, responsible and educational pastime.
6) That ALL members will have a say in how the group is run and its' future "direction".
That's about it, nothing too heavy, but setting down some basic ground rules and a semi "constitution". Any comments and/or suggested additions are welcome.

Sounds like the initial hiccoughs have been ironed out. Pics look good, so I guess onwards and upwards and ever need a helferin gimme a shout
Hi all
Looks like I missed a good get together on Sunday - glad it went well. Some fine photos, as has already been said - and I can't say I disagree in principle with any of the 'constitutional' points highlighted by Heide
Look forward to meeting up again soon
PS: a picture of me at Fireball on Saturday - not as good as the ones above, mind -
