Ok guys, we've got this set up with PBI next march. We absolutely need maximum numbers for this to make it work, otherwise, it'll have to be opened up for others outside of this group to make up the numbers. Time for us all to show a bit of commitment and a chance for many to earn an anti partisan award!
We all have over 4 months to sort ourselves out for it as well. By this I refer to getting the day freed up and for getting kit and weapons sorted.
The operation to capture Tito and the ensuing campaign was in May 1944, so all of the usual camo smock and helmet cover patterns are fine (oakleaf, planetree, burred edge, palmtree and dott44). Could everyone please remove or cover up any rank insignia as well please (smocks do this nicely anyway). We'll sort out a squad leader and 2 I/C closer to the day when we have an idea who's coming. I'll thrash out a kitlist over the coming weeks as well.
Weapons wise, we are going for total accuracy, so we'll have an MG, a squad leader with MP40, plus as many rifles as possible. MP44 and G43 are also ok but it would be great if we didn't use "counts as" weapons for this. If anyone is going to struggle with regards to a rifle, I have a Tanaka K98 AND a springer K98 I am willing to lend out on a "break it - pay for it" basis. I'm certain that between us, we have more than enough rifles.

Anybody else who wants in on the day is going to have to go Heer garrison or Partisan (remember the partisan has a 50/50 chance of playing for the axis in each scenario)
Alternatively if we can fill all commando places we can open up more ss once the numbers equalise.

Great to see we're fully booked so soon! Well done guys. We now have a fair bit of time to get our kit right for it and organise weapons and tactics.
Everyone please have a look at the operation lightning kitlist and, if you're short of anything or have any questions, let us know asap.
Also, bring your MP40's as back up weapons and also for if it's freezing arse cold (rendering the Tanakas almost unusable).
