As you know, the men, women and children of the United Kingdom are relying on us, the Home Guard, to keep save all that is ours and hold dear when the balloon goes up.
Training is paramount in creating the efficient fighting force that we must be when the time comes.
With this in mind and knowing that spare cash is hard to find in these difficult times I have drawn on the company funds, meagre though they are, to purchase a copy of the Home Guard Manual for each of you. Take good care of these please, at 6d a copy they aren't cheap but the information contained within is invaluable.
