I may go either FJ or Heer, I don't know yet.

I'm also a bit torn, I fancy just going as bog standard Heer landser rather then FJ ubertroops, but FJ and the Italian Campaign go together so well.

Maybe I'll just stick both outfits in the car and see how I feel on the day :)

Hmm, maybe I should pay as well.

Cheers
Martin

Money on the way. Went for Heer in the end, but I can do FJ if they need their numbers boosting.

Cheers
Martin

I have Heer tropical kit so it seems a shame not to use it one a site like this. However as you say the FJ in Italy look is a classic.

I particularly had in mind a photo from Andrew Mollos old 'Uniforms of WW2' of an extremely hot and fed up looking Heer soldier in Italy. Thought I might try for that.

Next to it is a photo of an SS officer from 16th SS wearing mountain boots, a pristine grey jacket and the shortest shorts you've ever seen in your life! It looks like he forgot to put his trousers on. Might give that one a miss :)

Cheers
Martin

Dang it... I just found out this event clashes with one of the Far Setting Sun events that I'm already promised to, so I'll have to miss it this time... Craig and co were even going to drive me down! :(

I'm up for this. Like Martin R, I can do either Heer or FJ depending on numbers. I'll go off and pay now...

Great news. If you're struggling for webbing nearer the time, I have some spare.
