To echo and plagiarise Bedsnherts post on Brit Helmets, nothing makes a group of players look like a proper german frontline fighting unit than having them all in appropriate Iconic Stahlhelms.

So..

If you have one or more M38 (FJ), M35, M40 or M42 helmet to spare then please step up and post the hat size. If you'd like to borrow one please post your head size. This way we can...oh, you know how it goes.

I've put this in the general section as there may be peeps who aren't coming to the game that are still geographically able to loan kit to our guys beforehand.

If you are already sorted then no need to post.

I will start the ball rolling on available helmets:

Heer M42 Stahlhelm Size 57-59
Heer M35 Stahlhelm Size 59-61

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

I have :
Heer DD M35 size 58-59. Might need some mud slapping on to camouflage it better in the terrain.
FJ M38 size 58-59. Italian turtleshell camo painted.

Good shout, Boshman. Nothing looks better and more authentic than a helmet.

I have FJ with camo cover size 58-59ish
M35 Heer, same size.

Maybe we should just bring 'em all along. 8)

Yes, I do. It's even tricked out in a Med / tropical colour scheme. I'll pack it for .
