Wish I was coming down for this but things have not gone good car wise for taffy, over £1000 spent so counting pennies at the moment, you lot raise a glass for me and enjoy every dalm minute of it

Just going to load the car and go - off to the south staffs museum on the way.
Boxes packed neatly with way too much kit as usual. Leaving at 4pm, get to Coventry at 5pm to drop some stuff off at offspring's flat, on site at 6pm.
Just finished fixing MP40 that was firing intermittently, complete stripdown and mechbox clear out, found the on/off switch was dicky so have soldered on a bypass on as a temporary measure. Then found the luger was venting gas, so stripped and re-lubed the mag. Holding gas OK now but using so much gas per shot it only gets through half a mag. Hmmm...
Well that's everything ticked off the list and packed, just waiting for B&A to pick me up in about half an hour 
Should be there about 6pm see you then 
It's 4:00, I havn't packed the car and I'm still sitting at my Comp being a lazy-arse as the site is only just up the A422 from me! Hopefully will be leaving at 5:00...
