For those who have been before you know that it is a great Big Site to play on. Those who have not been before you will be in for a treat to play on a huge site with different terrain styles.
The Sandpit:
Located on the site of the historical Swanscombe Park chalk quarry, this huge 1000 acre site is about as close as you will get to the landscape of the Tunisia, palm trees excluded, without actually going there. It has incredibly varied terrain, escarpments, cliffs, roads, bunkers,it even has a lake and I found one in the Kasserine area as well!!
Have a look at the pictures taken at our past events of Sevastopol and Crete.
Having been to both the site and Kasserine itself i can concur. Strange thing is that the Kasserine tourist information office (Syndicate d'initiative) had no information and the workers had no idea that a battle that was fought there!
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
