Does anyone know anywhere where I could get a suitable torch from?

I believe (and may be very wrong on this), that British forces did have similar torches to the Germans, so you could get one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SWEDISH-ARMY- ... 2018138866?

Maybe isn't 100% right, but it will give you the right level of lighting that a 40's torch would do.

Commando's also had access to the American torches too. These are paratroopers with the Tl-122 flashlight -- attachment is not available --

It is interesting to see those paratroopers with the American ones, but repro American ones are at least tenner!

Who's gonna be wearing bergens? I'm planning on wearing mine but was wondering if anyone else would be too.

Can’t be arsed with a Bergen,mine needs the frame bending a bit as well...another job for the list.

Picked up an East German copy,needs another bulb though.

I'm going to get the American copy I reckon. As for badging up I'm happy to go for whatever really. Still not 100% on what I'll be wearing either BD, Denison or jumper.

I'm not going to be badging up, Commandos didn't tend to on raids and especially not the smaller ones (at least that's my excuse... ).
