La Resistance will consist of around a dozen(hopefully) fighters. Dress code(as uniform doesn’t seem the right word) should really be as basic 1940’s French as possible. Easy options are black shoes, black trousers and a shirt(waiters basically) or a stripy sweater and a string of onions!
I shall be doing my best to secure us some sturdy transport, well, a rusty bike, but as yet this is still an issue with the health and safety guys because we may have to put you all on a course before you can ride it). In other words I might not be able to get one and will need someone to blame!
As far as weapons go, any British/American/captured German sub-machine gun will be fine, as will pistols of any kind(as long as they’re not lined with red-dots and fully auto or anything). Obviously as La Resistance fighters you can be equipped with any period equipment, INCLUDING captured MG's should any be availanble 
Not much info for you here as yet I know, but for now this is just a brief overview of La Resistance and will be updated with more info as details are confirmed.

Today, whilst serving in my Cafe and in an unfortunate turn of events, there was an awful accident. This accident seems to have led the local Resistance fighters to hail me as some kind of hero. I have documented these events in a short film which can be seen here below........

Today, news of my exploits seems to have reached the local Resistance hierachy and I received a visit from a woman who called herself 'michelle'. Apparently I am to become the new local leader for the Resistance and I am to assist with a major operation in the coming weeks. There has been no reprisals on my Cafe from the Occupying Germans as Michelle and her fellow fighters leaked information that the double killing was the actions of the resistance and not the poor lowly Cafe owner 'monseur Rene'. For this I am greatful.

One point to note for the French Resistance (FFI) it may be worth you having a small tie on tag with your name on it or maybe just FFI and a way for you to know it is yours.
This may help out on the day as before you get into any fighting you may need to hide your weapon, and we don't want them moved by others.
This will make more sense on the day when explained in full.

I had a great time playing as a Dutch at "The Drop" so would be happy to play as French Resitance or Yank, have the bare essentials of a brit kit too if needed (1940 BD)

I suggested to Porta get some 4" wide cloth (he said barrel cleaning cloth white) then get some cardboard in a long strip about 12" x 5" and cut a point at the end 45 deg angle.
Use this as a stencil and blow some red paint one side of the cloth let it dry then rotate the stencil and blow blue paint on the other side. This should leave a white diamond or square at 45 deg in the middle of the armband, you can make it long enough to just tie round your arm. Then just put FFI or the cross of Lorraine in the white centre.
You could put velcro on the fasten for a good job.
Anyway my thoughts on how to make them fast especially if you are making 6 or more

RESISTANCE SPECIFIC RULES
........ ALL PLAYERS PLEASE READ..............
The resistance will be given a large amount of autonomy in this game.
All civilian players will carry papers and an armband of the resistance.
All civilians remain so, and cannot be attacked unless one of the following things happens
They shoot any kind of weapon
They are caught carrying a firearm (bb weapon)
They are SEEN attacking a German soldier with a melee attack
They choose to come "out" as a resistance fighter
Once this happens, they MUST WEAR THEIR ARMBAND.
This apply s for the rest of the game, once "out" as a resistance member your permanently hostile and a combatant!
This allows each individual resistance player the choice to play the game as THEY like.
Lots of role play, and espionage is great, or straight out and in to combat as a fighter, or a mix of the two, the choice is totally up to the player.
The one exception to this is, if a resistance player stealth kills a German, Unseen by any other Germans or Gestapo, they carry on with normal civilian life. (the killed german needs to play fair, and not reveal the identity of their killer, please)
