Hey there, welcome to the forums ^-^
I've not personally used one, but am looking at getting a AGM MP40 myself soon, knowing a few people that have used them. They had no complaints, good lil gun, and the lo cap mags make it perfect for reinactment airsoft since you actually have a ammo limit of 50 per mag (6 mags making 300 rounds), and not the 2000 or so rounds someone with a Tompson + 6 hicaps has XD. Plus, it has the bonus of being one of the older WWII german guns, so can be used in most scenarios and uniforms that have "Date" restrictions on gear
hello and welcome .MP 40... i love mine ( and i dont do german, but i am more than happy to have an excuse to use it as a captured weapon) cant fault it, looks right, feels right ,and shoots fine.
haha I know that feelin XD just had to set up a payment plan to pay off a replacement pc, n still trying to sell a group of nitro rc cars to get funds together for my uniform n gun XD (WWII Airsoft, a addiction in itself!)

you have no idea........
The only thing you'll need to do with the AGM is open it up and clean all the grease out from the cylinder.

Replacements for Chinese batteries is always a good idea - anyway, you will need a spare (and a better charger - all this information can be found on the forum with a search).
Motor is fine though!

Welcome

Welcome, the later MP40s are far better than the first ones, better screws holding the barrel in, a better inner barrel & hop unit, they don't seem to have as much grease in them now, I have taken a few later ones apart & they seem much improved, look at component shop for replacement batteries, get a 8.4v 1500mAh mini type battery,
