Just dipping my toe into the world of WW2 airsoft.Have been airsofting for years but find the scene getting a bit stale and fancied a change of direction.
Just kitting up now,have a M1A1 Thompson,M1911A1 and a loosely themed Ranger loadout,just need to learn how to get these bloody gaiters on!

don't wait till you have perfect kit, people are happy to lend what you don't have ,just get booked on the first game you can make, you an often borrow a complete uniform if there are no yank games in the offing, there's always a loan kit thread for each game.

as Dadio says, there is usually loan kit available for games no huge issue about using the 'wrong' weapons as long as they are WW2 (I've used an M1A1 as British, Russian and German!).

I'm based in West Yorkshire by the way.
generic will see a lot more use than the exotic cool stuff.
