Hi All,

I am a new member to the forum and thought it would be a good idea to first come here and introduce myself. I have followed the forums for a number of years and am pleased to say I have finally got around to moving into the ww2 airsoft re-enactment world.

I am based near Banbury Oxfordshie, in my late 20s and my airsoft/ww2 interest is mainly for the objective/role play element to the games. In short - I can go paintball or standard airsoft and go crazy on the trigger every weekend but thats boring and I am looking for something more involved and this looks like the ticket to that experience.

I am fortunatle that I have very little kit and I am in the process of trying to ascertain what is good to get and what is a waste of £. I will book onto some games and no doubt see you all around. Any advice is very welcome!

British will be my outline..... to start.....!

Regards,

Ed

Allo allo Banbury, Nighthawk calling

Welcome to the Forum, I'm afraid I have little knowledge on British kit but plenty on the forum do, so feel free to ask :good:

Welcome. Have a look at the kit guides. Also, many people will be happy to lend a few bits - get yourself along to an event. :good:

Welcome to the forum Ed, don't worry about getting your kit perfect, just get along to an event & borrow anything that you need. Welcome aboard!

Hi mate!

All good advice. Most important thing is to get to games and get involved. Kit is not as critical as a willingness to partake.

WW2 airsoft is, as a community, extremely friendly. People will happily loan kit and even guns to get new players involved.

Come along, have a laugh. You won't regret it.

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay :good:
The only daft questions are the ones that go unasked so ask away, you'll find most people here are happy to help, if a little mad

Hello and welcome,

Plenty of opportunity to play Brit at games in the forthcoming months, so hope to see you at an event soon.

Cheers

Banbury, this is To-

*Looks at the pieces of his experimental field phone and throws them back in the box.*

Since I've not finished making the stupid thing, I'll just dispense with the pretence.

Hello, sir and welcome. As you've probably heard a few times already, yes, people are willing to loan kit, since I've poured plenty of money into my own equipment I can loan out some stuff too quite happily since British equipment is far superior than everyone else's.

Plus, it's nice to see another individual willing to join the British side instead of crossing either the channel or the pond. Hope you'll enjoy yourself and maybe see you at an event in the future, sir.
