Hello and welcome. The limit for AEGs is 350 FPS with a 0.2g BB, so he will need to get it sorted before the event if he wants to use it. (He's got three weeks!)

I don't believe we have any Kriegsmarine here (apart from drinking uniforms!), but plenty portray Heer, FJ and Waffen SS. Most people go for a generic look, since the units we portray vary from event to event, and it's possible to attend many events during a year. Some might badge up specifically for an event - e.g. a few of us badged up as GD Pioniere for an event last month.

I also do Brit infantry or airborne, should the occasion arise.

Unfortunately, the reality is that the WWII airsoft people base is extremely small compared to WWII trad reenactment, so we have to organise events where we know we will get the required 30-40 attendees to make it viable. So whilst those two ideas are good on paper, it might prove impossible to get enough people to attend.

I'd also like to see an Operation Valkyrie style match: Waffen SS going head to head with the Wehrmacht :D That would be a match to remember :P

Gah = that was MY idea...

Welcome to the forum and hope to see you in the field pretty soon. Feel free to bring your tank.
