Greetings and salutations all,
My name's John, and I'm an American living in this fine country known as the United Kingdom. My wife and I are US services members, altho I recently retired from the US Army (20 years service), and thats what brought us here. I am an avid milsim airsoft player, and back in the States did American Civil War and WW2 living history. I love both activities and for once, the two intertwine. To me, that's simply amazing. I am looking to start attending the events posted here, and being an active member in what ever capacity I can. Being retired from the Army has left me at home with absolutely nothing to do during the day.
As to the events here, I personally don't care which side I fight on. During World War Two, I had family members in the German Army as well as American. Luckily not the same theater! So, I am open to doing whatever best helps out, who ever wants a new member, or whatever. I may even go so far as to do both sides.
I am greatly looking forward to seeing you all at the events.
John Morgan
Welcome John! Great to have you on board.
Hope to see you soon at one of the events. Maybe you can make it to the battle of the bulge on 14th Dec. Will be there.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum!
Hello and welcome,
have a look at the kit and getting started guides and hope to see you at an event soon. I wouldn't worry too much about sides, some of us do both/all of them
Cheers

Hello and welcome.
Whatever side you choose a basic infantry look is best ,most battles were predominantly faught by the infantry so it's the best place to start , Germany faught everybody so a German infantry uniform will see the most use .whatever side you choose can then be modify'd to change it to another wing of the armed forces for relatively little extra cost ,for instance Brit infantry uniform ,if you add a maroon beret and a Dennison smock and now you'r an airborne commando ,obviously there's more to it than that but you only need the basic's to begin with and will probably never feel you have perfectly complete kit
