Just thought id say hello, Been into WW2 stuff for years, but never really put it and airsoft together until now.
Im based in North Cornwall, very near to the WW2 post at Morwenstow (which is my local site).
I've been looking to start a Fallschirmjager loadout, but im honestly not sure as to what i should start with as I havent found any useful ref files. Any help or advice here would be very much appreciated.
I've also been on a spending spree and bought a load of period weapons. Agm MP40, AGM MG42 and a Dboys K98, (which is now broken lol)
anyway, hope to hear from some of you soon
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum. Going to get in first here with if your looking for loadout advise get onto the kit guides from the drop down menu at top of page, especially this one if your going for FJ:
http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/german-fallschirmjager/
Also there is a fallschirmjager specific thread in the Axis discussion section so you may find a lot of info in there.
If not just ask the collective wealth of knowledge that exists here on this forum, as I have never been able to stump them yet.
Hello and welcome. Some good info in Kies post, and come visit the Axis kit forum.
Main thing is, you don't need a ton of stuff to get started, all the odd bits and fancy stuff can get added as you go along. For FJ all you need is a smock, some sort of hat, trousers, boots, belt, ammo pouches and a bag for your bits. You don't need a fleigerbluse yet.
For a hat, a helmet is a good investment, although more expensive than a cap. You could get FJ jump trousers, but standard infantry trousers are more generic for other impressions. Any old high laceup black boots will do for now, like modern assault boots, or if you can get them, British combat highs. Avoid late war tan and water stocks, go for plain green or splinter b.
There are a few games lined up this autumn, and many events lend or rent kit, so the main thing is to get along to a game asap.
Cheers

Hello and welcome. As Kieron says, look at the Kit guides menu for good info. It's also wise to ask before buying anything, because there is a fair bit of sub-standard stuff being sold. FYI, FJ kit overall will cost more than regular German army, and getting a good helmet can be tricky.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Hello and welcome, don't worry about getting all the kit at this stage - what you don't have you can usually borrow Getting to events is the most important thing!

Hello and welcome
As stated above the most important thing to do is get to a game , almost nobody get's to their first game in perfect kit (if it exists) ,nearly all games have a kit lone thread ,people are usually happy to lone out stuff on a "you bend it you mend it" basis ,most of us have multiple impressions ,when I'm playing Brit I don't need my German stuff so if somebody needs it the etc ....

Hi guys, thank you very much for the welcome! I shall certainly give the threads a browse and Set aside some days to attend some games. I will also bear in mind what has been said about dodgy kit. Apart from weapons, I haven't bought anything as i thought it best to ask.
Thanks again
