Hi guys!
Name's Sam, just starting a British WW2 loadout for airsoft. Using this forum for ideas and advice.
Got a Mk2 Helmet and a Thompson so far, rest of the kit I'm slowly going to gather ready for gaming in the full kit.
Hello and welcome
Good place to start is the kit guides on the main heading above , then ask where the best kit/prices can be found , almost always worth asking to avoid getting the wrong or bad quality kit and its a friendly forum with lots of helpfull people who can answer any question .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

Hello and welcome,
As Dadio says, kit guide is the best place to start, but you are best off going with a basic infantry impression to start, it is easily morphed into more exotic looks later. So, you just need some battle dress and basic webbing set now.
Hope to see you at an event soon.
Cheers

Thanks! No harm done anyway.
Well, I'm back to just a helmet as my starting point - the Thompson arrived and I have found it's not feeling strong enough for me in terms of the plastic pistol grip, so it's going back.
If you have UKARA, consider a Sten as a starting gun.

It will work out around £150 including delivery. Taiwangun.com is in Poland so no tax or duty to pay.
The King arms metal thompsons seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment.

I haven't got UKARA, I do have a British Airsoft Club Membership that I've used getting my modern kit last year. I did look at a Sten, but thought it might be a bit small for me, and it seems to have the same stock issues as the Thompsons, it's just not around.
I found a King Arms Thompson - just had plastic parts as well as metal, so it got sent back.
I have now bought a Shoot and Scoot Lee Enfield Number 4 Mark 1, as they awesome looking guns.

Hello and welcome! Best to read the kit guides as already mentioned and start generic - no need to badge up for most events unless you choose too
What everyone else so far has said!

The important thing is to get to a game. Just ask to borrow some kit
