Hi folks. My name is Pete and I live in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Just stumbled across the forum by accident and I'm well chuffed to find it. I'm a collector of original US WW2 equipment and I got into airsoft through my son. I needed something to fill my my .45 holster but I didn't want a de-act. Like buying a motorbike with no engine. My son suggested an airsoft so I looked around and found a KWC 100th anniversary 1911 which is a great replica and great fun as well. For the minute I'm stuck with hiring a modern weapon on the day and battling with the M-4 guys until I find a suitable WW2 rifle/SMG to go with the Colt. As far as I know there are no WW2 airsoft events in Northern Ireland so I'm the only WW2 airsofter around these parts that I know of. Kind of lonely ! Anyway, I'm glad to be part of the forum and hope that I can make a positive contribution. Regards,
Pete
