Hi All
I'm part of a reenactor group and normally we do the North Africa type thing due to our hot climes.
I am a "long time" airsoft player in SA been doing it for about 4 years (that's about how long it has been going here).
We are looking at combining the two and looking at WWII airsoft now and I am hoping to learn lots from the forum members here.
Here's a pic of yours truly last month.
Please excuse the non period glasses and watch. I normally wear the KD shorts or KD trousers but decided to wear my '49 BD bottoms. My arse has got a bit fat and am awaiting a new set of period repro BD's from a seller in the UK.
The day was also exciting as we had been through a treat of a demonstration chopper drop for the crownds, with one team from an Allouette, another a Puma and an Orynx.
Here's a pic of us practising the safety drills. I'm the fat git in the Desert DPM. I know its not WWII related but to show that there is something happening across here.

We are planning planning our first WWii game at the end of the month and I'm looking at getting together a RM Commando set-up, hence me needing my new BD's. Got everything else including a mint '60's and a used jerkin and a '40s Bergen.

if you'r wearing wool bd in Africa then i take my hat off to you ,i find it too warm here in the summer.there's a load of folk on here who can answer almost any question you can think of.good luck in you'r planning a game.we have many over seas members from Kannada ,new Zealand, France, Spain, Italy and on and on so again welcome.
