Hello folks. I've been lurking for a while but am finally getting round to actually contributing !

Myself and a bunch of like minded friends have been airsofting, re-enacting and live-roleplaying for many many years now and have always been at the historical end of Live roleplay, rather than the nylon and elf ears end. We have made a few forays into the 20's and 30's in the past. Plus we all value good kit, authenticity and high end propage, since most or all of us have been at one time or other either professional or semi-pro kit, theatre or film prop makers.

As a group we've always wanted to do WWII - but we always thought we were alone and since none of us wanted to do Germans, we never really bothered. But now I've discovered that there are like minded folks out there who have the same idea as us, and not only want to collect the kit, but want to do more than just themed skirmishes. So despite the fact that most of us aren't VCR registered yet and haven't airsofted much in about 3 years, we are keen, enthusiastic, midlands based and ready for some active service :)

So even if I can't convince my mates, I'll certainly be getting along to some events asap and I look forwards to adding to my ever growing pile of War !

Hello there, looks like the number of members in and around Nottingham gets bigger every week or so.

Heya

Quite a few of us in PBI are in the notts/derby area.

We've just come back from a living history event this weekend as a few of us combine traditional re-enactment with what we do on here!

I did get the impression that there were quite a few Notts / Derby folks on here. So do you ever manage to get together for a beer or two ?

Can be arranged

Are you planning to go to the 40s weekend at the castle brewhouse?
