Hi Guys, the names Jed, I am from Weymouth originally but now living in Brighton finishing my final year at uni. For the past few years I have been playing airsoft at my local airsoft site on Portland, but after volunteering at a ww2 museum, The D-Day Centre, I have slowly but surely accumulated a US GI's and Airborne loadout and I am hoping to get into the ww2 airsoft hobby as soon as I can get my hands on ww2 airsoft rifle, or at least build one (probably an M1 Garand) which should be interesting. Anyway, thank you for welcoming me to the forum, and I look forward to chatting, and hopefully meeting you guys

If you already have your outfit sorted get yourself to a game as soon as you can - I'm sure someone can lend you a weapon for the day.
The Kettering game in December should be great - i had my 1st ww2 airsoft game there last year, it was really good!

Welcome. Bart is right. Just come to a game and ask here to lend a gun. I am sure someone will do.
Thank you guys! I will see if i can try and make it for that event! Just need to make sure the dates don't clash with uni deadlines and if i can find someone from the local area is going so i can try and catch a lift with them! Hopefully i will be able to come!

Cheers Hans! Thank you, I already have a basic US infantry loadout, and I have some Airborne kit also, with the exception of a para helmet, I will try my best to get up to an event asap. And don't worry, I will defo keep my schedual clear for that date in fact, 17th of May is when I finish my course so I can defo come then!
