Hello to you all. I was introduced into airsoft about four years ago and found myself instantly hooked (or obsessed as the wife puts it!!). Imitation realistic weapons, putting together a loadout, accessories, keeping fit, shooting your mates - you just can't beat it can you!
Quickly, I liked the custom work that I saw people posting here and on other sites and that really inspired me. The reason for joining is mainly to post some builds I have done/are working on that are intended to hopefully inspire others as I was and perhaps give ideas. I am so grateful to others who have posted their hours of hard work as it has been the catalyst for me to have a go myself.
Jersey has a kind of underground following with regard to Airsoft as there are no public sites. Regrettably, the infinite wisdom of local politicians here meant that despite paying for environmental studies to be carried out and jumping through huge hoops, a very well organised, safe, well meaning and basically non-profit making airsoft site on private land that had been run superbly for a few years did not have it's licence renewed and left the island with no site for people to pay and play. However, providing that there is no charge, there is no problem. So us poor souls over here at least still manage to have a skirmish with privately organised games.
That's the background. Pleasure to be involved with such a fantastic hobby. I will be posting some custom stuff I have already completed and some I am still working on soon.

Would like to see some of your builds.
I guess getting to a game would be monumental.
We ran a game a couple of years ago IlGrigio Pass in the archive section at Portland. I guess that would have been the closest game in the last few years ![]()

Hello and welcome,
I feel your pain re lack of Airsoft sites. What a complete an utter pain, although well done in keeping it going. Could you form a club with subscriptions (like a re-enactment group) as an alternative to fee paying? I was part of a group which did that for a couple of years for private airsoft battles, we rented a wood from a farmer.

...Jersey has a kind of underground following with regard to Airsoft...
So that will be at the War Tunnels then
seriously though, having visited some of the WW2 sites in Jersey its a shame that as the only UK land occupied you can't re-enact its history
Martins suggestion might be a way forward though?
