hello i'm meddy from Nuneaton in Warwickshire.
i'm an air softer, a collector of weapons, uniforms and various other stuff.
always wanted to give ww2 ago and even more possible with the mp44 i picked up this year. now i got the 44 for dads wall but he agreed to let me use it when ever i wanted. i as of yet not gotten ww2 field dress, mostly from when one of my bosses asked me about airsoft and i got on the topic of ww2 Germans he said 'that's not a good idea for you in our line of work' (or words to that effect) kinda has a point as were youth & community workers and all
but that was a wile ago and different manageress later and none of them care lol
so once i finish loosing weight so rapidly and even out i should be able to grab some heer stuff (that is the normal army one not the party force , right?)
but that the future i'm currently looking at the event on here for December game hoping i can rent/borrow some German kit. and see if i like the rules and how ww2 games are played and flow.
heck i might even get bit kit and various weapons to collect and display ya might not get rid of me
feel free to chat or pm me about stuff and things im always connected to the forum and zeroin forum through tappa talk on my phone.
speak soon
meddy
Allo allo
and welcome to the Forum. Gunman games provide free uniform loan and at other games you can sometimes borrow kit off forum members to get you going. If starting to get your own kit check out http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/german-heer-infantry/ as an excellent guide
Hello and welcome,
as above, Guman has uniforms for loan and you can often borrow kit at other games too.
Yes, Heer is the regular army, as opposed to the SS.

Free speech is expensive these days!

hi and welcome
best to get a little kit but good kit and borrow what you don't have ,rather than getting stuff that needs replacing later on.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

Hello and welcome Meddy, to echo everyone else, get the basics first and worry about the finer details later - check the Heer section on the forum for further advice.

>_< urgh i did reply to this on tapatalk app thing but it obviously didn't post. anyway.....
thank you all for the warm welcome.
i did have a look a wile ago at uniforms will give it another go. i'm currently using a DDR yoke and belt for the 44 pouches as i had a few lying about the gun came with 6 mags i don't normally use more than 2-3 at most still got to sort out the emptying half the mags bb's into the pouch problem they have >_<
now i like to try my hardest to look the part in the cheapest way
and that normally means using kit and stuff me and dad have acquired over the years. now the current problem i will face in the upcoming 9th dec. event will be storing the ammo reloads bags and also the inevitable grenades.
I do have a few leather gas mask bags, big leather magazine pouches, etc and if needed i can always knock up a black leather sactual if i have time. I think we have an old french bread bag somewhere proberly no use though.
