Welcome to the forum.
Tips on how to attend an event? 1. Look at list of events on forum. 2. Pay money. 3. Turn up in a timely fashion on the event day in question.
Heh, as easy as that. Next event is a weekender on 19th/20th November - places still available on the German side. http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=167

hi and welcome,it really is that easy to get started, sounds like all you need is a gun.people are really welcomeing and easy to get on with and this forum is a wealth of knowledge,so if theres anything you need to know then just ask.
it may be worth getting a more generic implession than the waffen ss as it limits the games you can attend to those where they were used and mutch as we arnt as strict on exact kit as reenacting generally all games do have a sugested impression, ie there wernt many brit airbourne commandos at dunkirk etc.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Hello and welcome. If you don't have a gun yet, you should be able to hire one for the event on 19/20th November. Get stuck in, matey! :good:

hello and welcome.

some games are more lax on kit than others.

by that i mean, they allow "any" german uniform 1939 to 45

some games will specify a type, "heer or ss or FJ "

and some games will even specify a regiment or unit, (not so many of them though)

give it a try, its good fun, and the bonus over a blank battle is people actually get hit, the bad thing, everyone has to wear silly safety specs, and not as many lovely bangs. (though grenades still go boom)

Willkommen
Just get booked into a game you are well on your way.
Sevastapol will be great and not far from Herts. I have all SS kit but just have some spare for the Heer games when SS not playing.

Hello & welcome, as others have said - the best way to get started is just to get to an event and get stuck in!

Hello & Welcome, The event Chomley suggested looks like it will be good, as the other gunman events have been so will be enjoyable and a great starting point for the airsoft side of things :good:
