I would concur stay away from the Tan and Water (Looks real sexy) butlimits your kit. If you need a camo top to get started just get a splinter one more generic. On ebay they are going for £29.99 if you are lucky

Which is where I got my Heer splinter smock, although it was rather less than that.

As above, probably better to go for generic. 3rd pattern splinter is very late war. Basic feldgrau repro German uniforms are quite inexpensive these days. The sharp eyed will no doubt spot that the jacket in my profile pic is (rather damp) tan & water, but it is Luftwaffe Field Div so doesn't count :) Put lipstick (or T&W) on a pig and it still a pig.
