I have a load of pictures of my granfather in north africa and holland and I am very proud of them, he was in the RAF but never once talked about it, the only time I can remember was when I was 16 and wanted to join the Army myself, then he said '' don't do it '' and I never did.

Welcome aboard.

Sounds like a great collection of kit.

BTW its 'The Parachute Regiment'

There are and were no 'Royal Airborne' units in the British Army. Their was a Royal Ulster Rifles in the Airborne but they were glider borne not para.
