As the title suggests, I live on the other side of the pond, but I've decided to join as I've found this forum to be a wealth of knowledge in the past and I'm interested in learning more. Although I have a strong interest in uniforms and kit from the second world war, my main interest is in the cold war, including the Spanish Civil War, the Greek Civil War, Chinese Civil war, Korean War, the Portuguese Ultramar, the Contra war and the various Bush wars in Africa. I guess that about sums up my areas of interest.
Oh, and if anyone has any info regarding where to find a repro Flak Helferin uniform (the short m44 style blouse and ski pants in LW blue), I'd really appreciate it.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.

Hello and welcome. The only place I know that does female uniforms is www.militaria-net.co.uk - they do DRK, Heer and W-SS Helferin, but not Luftwaffe, unfortunately. ![]()

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Thank you!
I've also found sewing patterns for the bloke's m44 uniform, shouldn't be too hard to modify them to the women's uniform.
