hello and welcome
to point out the obvious difference- we shoot each other ,this adds the very real peril to the picture,we generally aren't as strict on perfect kit although many do have very accurate kit ,i suppose its more exciting but as ive never done any re-enactment im cant really judge but we dont to public display so much as personal fun and immersion.that came over a bit wrong, sounding to up myself and i have nothing against re-enactment and there is a huge cross over between the two.best way to see what its like is to have a go,if you already have uniform then there are plenty of folk on here who are happy to lend you a gun, book on a nearby game and go onto the kit loan thread and borrow a gun and get stuck in .
what impression's do you do?

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Welcome, PG. The main thing about WWII airsoft is attending events - they're immersive, great fun, and you meet some great people. :good:

that photo looks very similar to one taken in the ardennes on a german propaganda shoot.

did you try for the exact look, or is it just a coincidence , either way, ive not seen the photo for years , yet your picture reminded me of it instantly :good:

the porta photo on my profile, is me, as Porta, at a in game social evening :D
