Hello & welcome!

Yes, as a member of either/both a reenactment groups or/and AFRA, you should have enough protection to uphold a specific defence for purchase of a RIF :good:

Hello and welcome.

As above, as an AFRA memeber you should be fine buying a RIF.

Sounds like you've done the hard part already, buying all the uniforms!

Cheers
Martin

Hi Wolf.

"Captured" ww2 weapons are also fine so you can use the same gun for all your impressions

I've read on here that very few join groups, so how do you know what impression to do at an event?

Groups portraying specific units tend to limit themselves in terms of what games they can attend. A British infantry group obviously can't go to an Eastern Front game so some will pick German, some will pick Russian and some just won't go. The "group" thing falls apart very quickly.

Your choice as to impression depends largely on what the event scenario is. A game like Operation Jedburgh was very grueling for the Allied players and had a more comfortable, rear-echelon vibe for the Germans. It was made clear at the outset that it was going to be like this - so you pick the side / impression that appeals to you more.

Welcome. Still room at our Italian event on 18th June for Brit infantry, or Heer and FJ. viewforum.php?f=164

You may be able to get / share a lift from Brum. I can lend you an MP40, too.
