In the 'reference' tab at the top. It covers kit, weapons etc. :D

I think he means the game rules as apposed to the kit regs ;) I don't know where they are, but if you look at previous games especially the earlier/first games they are there in posts in the relevant sections ;) am sure one of the CiA chaps will say where they actually are permanently on the site, but as an inbetween you could read them there ;)

Beyond that there may be game specific rules listed in each game section or give out on the day...

Hi,

Thanks for the info, how many rounds are you allowed to take with you before you regen or rearm, and what are the fps speeds and distances in these games, are all sites the same.

I am looking for a K98 lookalike I cannnot afford the Tanaka prices any suggestions.
I am ok for kit, I used to re enact Heer.FJ.
Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian

At a CIA or PBI game you're allowed to carry 600 rounds on you into the field at any one time, you can reload at ammo dumps or command posts but you can never hold more than 600.

How you carry those 600 is up to you, 2 hi caps or seven mid caps or whatever, its personal choice.

The exception to this is support gunners, they may carry 3000 but can only fire the weapon prone, braced on hard cover or supported by a teammate.

As for FPS limits, its really dependand on the site but on average in the UK many sites use 328 fps as a limit for aegs and weapons capable of automatic or semi automatic fire.

Single shot rifles where the action has to be cocked each time can be up to 500 fps on most sites.

CiA/PBI tend to go with that

However some sites has stricter regulations and where this is the case we abide by thier rules.

e.g. at op wotan in october last year the UCAP limit is 300fps (as its so very close range cqb in the tunnels) and we had to ensure players all complied to this.

oh and for a k98 you can get the dboys k98 copy (plastic furniture not wood im afraid) for between £50 and £150 (about £120 in the uk i think but less from hong kong but then the shipping makes it almost as expensive as buying it here...)

Remember you will need a 'defence' for purchase so i sincerely recommend local site membership or as a re-enactor AFRA would probably be more use to you.
