Ok here is that WW2 hanger site I visited at the weekend.
RNAS Burscough (HMS Ringtail) was a Fleet Air Arm (FAA) naval air station which was situated 1.5 statute miles south-west of Burscough, Lancashire. The Admiralty acquired 650 acres (2.6 km2) of land in December 1942 and the airfield was built with four runways and several hangars, being commissioned on 1 September 1943.

4 Hangers not 5 as I thought, you will see buses on the photo as it was used for a bus restoration group for the last 30 years or so.
Now it is looking for a new use, I know it isn't the largest site but are real WW2 hangers for Supermarine Seafires etc that protected Liverpool.
I have contact info for the owner.
Look here for WW2 photos of the place.

Free speech is expensive these days!

it looks great , but it way to small to run as a site,
the approximate area is 200m by 200m
theres no way you could play a game with anything more than 12 people and not for more than an hour or 2 .
may be good to use for pictures, or build TONS of temp buildings , but the work would be tremendous ![]()
"Take that you rotton helping of strawberry flan!"
Joseph Porta to "strawberrys and cream", in the sven hassel book ,ogpu prison
Yes looks small now but when I was driving the Jeep down the roads it seemed bigger.
I was just trying to think of a use like a military vehicle show or a one off airsoft game but had no I idea how you could run a game there, other than as I said a night raid on aircraft hangers.
Could probably rent the site for a few £hundred for the weekend as he has nothing elese going on.
