Does anyone know if the one from Epic Militeria is any good?

just able to go by the picture it looks more 'tan' rather than 'green' and not raw edged.

though I haven't seen one in the flesh (or thread) so if someone has??

Would US troops wear a collared shirt (and tie for formal occasions) ? If so, what colour(s)?

The tie is a Service Tie. Usually cream coloured.

Though that looks too dark in the picture.

Shirt is a khaki colour and the same as worn under the M41 in combat.

Officers may vary things a bit though!i.e. there's chocolate and pinks... :)

yeah, don't go wearing a tie into combat

I forgot to take mine off at the DBs training day... and did exactly that!

:good: Yes an enlisted mans wool shirt would have a collar bud.

yeah, don't go wearing a tie into combat

He's an officer. Hot under Patton, but maybe he served under him North Africa and the habit stuck.

Or is that a myth?

I'll have to wear my Jerry shirt - nobody'll notice (until I take my tunic off!).

I possess about... one tie, which is black. :(

Ooo, if you do then it would save me looking rubbishy at the pub. :good:

Or is that an offer to the captain to curry favour?
