Alas I fear my large trousered cavalry uniform will not arrive before the event.
I know there will be wails of sadness and tears of barely contained outage from many
. I had a distinct feeling it would not arrive in time and would have been wearing my Drelich uniform on the day anyway.
Though it would still have been nice to wear for the drinkypoos.
Such is life, though my allies can rest assured I will be as distinct and unhideable as ever for them.
Wledek, starting to get proper excited now ![]()
well i have been wearing the kilt a bit today, might even take the dogs for a walk wearing it,,,, sence public opinion. ![]()
Ah, your 'going to the park' kit...

i was going to go in full kit......but no, this will be the " going through the woods to see how it handles the nettles and brambles " kit.
better safe than sorry

It'll be fearful all right - but maybe not silent! Ow! ![]()

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
That's ace!

Guys
Been messing around today and cant decide which uniform to wear over the weekend
Your thoughts please
Looks good! Dare I say, a little like Charles Bronson in the "Great Escape"
I mean this Charles Bronson!
And NOT this bell end!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Great stuff Steve - these RAF chaps are going to look splendid. Come to think of it, this is the first WW2 UK game to feature the RAF, another CiA first!
* wonders about asking Steve why he has a pole up his arse but decides it's none of CW's business *

Looks good, what's the other option though?

Steve you sack of shite - I know there's a war on, but plug the iron in next time and get your hands out of your pockets! Plus, I hope you're going to wear a tie, no self respecting WW2 pilot would enter the cockpit without one (or at least a cravat!). Does that tunic actually fasten?
Seriously - looking good, wish I was coming now (although I think you're all going to get wet! You look good in RAF blues, told you, you should have gone for your commission!
PS - why have you got a pole up your arse (be better if it was the pea picking variety!)?

Well, he's in the garden, and it's been very warm, it's obviously to stop him wilting in the heat.
they both look ace, but i think i would go with service dress..... it just looks early war.
Hmmm, I prefer the look of this one:
No idea about which is more authentic though.

Not really, i played a whole day as RAF at haggard.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Meh, you were a prop! (Whole day!)

Still a pretty bloody big 'feature' as i was the objective ![]()
So definitely not the first game to feature the RAF.
(and i got to shoot lots of people too so it wasnt purely set dressing, i was an active player on the allied side)
