I know some groups use real german comands and/or phrases.
Will this be somthing we will be doing, or will it be at our own discretion?

Hang on! (x) of you, (y) of me, dont mind playing Airsoft, I make that Pimms OΓ’β¬β’clock
We don't really give orders in German... because most people wouldn't understand!
However, German phrases and exclamations bandied about certainly add to the atmosphere!

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Thats kind of what I was getting at ![]()
A few 'achtungs', and a couple of 'Shneils', and a 'Mein Gott' or two never hurt any one ![]()

Reminds me of reading the Warlord. God thats showing my age. Gott in Himmel.

I was an avid Warlord reader from issue 2! (Never did get issue 1...
)
I remember the cover of issue 2 featured an Allgemaine SS officer in full flight, because a massive bomb had just shattered the window and was heading straight at him - it had something suitable chalked on it, like "up yours, Adolf" or somesuch!

My mate from Germany tried to teach me how to properly say the word Right, in German, but for the life of me I couldn't get it.
I could only say the word Left, so he came up with a phrase for me to say when I wanted to refer to Right.
Left = Links
Right = Nine, Das Unter Links
(I think that's how you spells it)

And the japanese only ever said "Die Amarican pig dog" or "AAIIIEEE" dependant on shooting or being shot. Ah 1970's comics, narrowing the mind wonderfully
You'er right you know Pimms I have no idea how to say right in german!

Left- links
Right- recht
Hande hoch is always appropriate too.
Ihre pass bitte- your pass please

As usual, I'll be screaming in German, where applicable.

Best of School Boy German lol
Nice find JD, I remember reading the whole series of Darkies mob in Battle, fighting the japs in Burma, superb stuff. Another personal favourite was Kampfgruppe Falken, but I can`t remember if it was in Battle or Warlord. It seemed quite an apt comic strip at the time as it was very similar to the Sven Hassel novels I was ploughing my way through, much better reading than the stuff they gave me at school to read. ![]()
