If you are an AFRA member and you wish to avail yourself of the insurance to cover you for the Husky event you must register with all speed. If you aren't registered for the event, you aren't covered.

To register on the web site initially go to the 'New Member Registration' form http://www.afra.org.uk/register.aspx
Use that registration to log in: http://www.afra.org.uk/login.aspx
You should see extra items on the menu now.
Go to Member Details: http://www.afra.org.uk/m_default.aspx and make sure everything is fully filled in (with car reg number) and under 'Choose your group' tick 'CiA'

Once you have done that please drop me a PM so that I can include you in the Risk Assessment which will be emailed to you.

(Lardassmonkey is the only member to have completed the process so far...)

I'm already registered, and I am logged on, but I can't see any member options. I have tried adding Husky to my calendar, but it comes back with an error.

Please double check the procedure I have laid out above (personal claender hasn't anything to do with the process)
In particular, specify CiA as your group and that everything is fully filled in.

I may be a bit of a thicky here, I completed the registration but the site would not recognise my login attempt and I keep getting the message "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again."
Thought I had probably got the password wrong so entered my user name, completed the security question and requested a new password. Email recieved with new password but I still cannot login and I get the same error message.
Any ideas :(

Yes, your login attempt was not successful!

I'll get to the bottom of this - the registration process seems rather complex to my simple brain and I'm pretty sure some bits aren't working (I am using a password generated by their system but it won't change to something of my choice  )

PM me your full name + user name and I will resolve this.
Same goes for Barry and Anne 'cos I know the system defeated you both too!

Re: the password - same problem here. Then I saw that it must contain a NON-alphanumeric character...

It's somehow comforting to know it's not just us.

We gave up a while ago but will have another go tonight.

I'm a step further forward now.
Could you all confirm that you can 'log in' and access somewhere where you can update your details please?

Yes I can login and can access the details page :good: Interesting it would appear that none of the groups work, so it's not just us.

I can log in. The options I see are:

AFRA home
about AFRA
Events
Join AFRA
Links
Member login
News
AFRA recommends
Register
Photo albums
The Forum

No options to change anything apart from my forum settings.

Once you log in to the members area you are given different options, one of which is the ability to change your membership details.

When I click on Members login, all I get is a message saying "you are already logged in". And now I can't log onto the forum!

OK, the forum is a bit of a distraction for this issue.
So, to nail your problem Andy - you appear to be 'logged in' yet nothing changes and there is not way of accessing your member details?

Have tried again and am getting the same problem as before which seems to be similar to Steiner.

I have registered and logged in but all I get is as shown below. Note option on left for "Member Login", but I'm already logged in. Also, no option to edit member details or anything.
