OK finally got around to contacting my local brewery. its a 5 gallon barrel which is approx 40 pints. The cost of the ciders £27.25 with a extra £14 depoist for the barrel. I'll take care of the deposit as its me who has to claim it back anyway(though obviously if you break the barrel you will be covering the deposit 
).
Seeing as we're there for 2 nights I think 5 people is a good figure to share this as that will give us 8 pints each over the 2 nights. That makes it a princely sum of £5.45 a head. Myself and Craig will obviously be having this which gives us 3 spaces left. If you want in on this please let me know by friday lunch time at the Latest as once I get home from work we'll be leaving to get the barrel and drive up.
If there are enough people who want this I maybe able to persuade Craig to put a 2nd barrel in the car. So even if the other 3 spaces are filled please post and I'll get a 2nd one for you to share.
So to sum up: approx 8 pints each for £5.45 cost.
