Quick update for you all:

We currently have 17 bookings for Husky.

That's £750 taken to date with £510 owed to Ex-Site and £29.11 owed to PayPal.

That leaves £210.89 profit, added to the money we have in Paypal and the bank accounts and that gives us a current balance of £457.32.

Let's buy a command tent!!!!! ;)

Ta

Incidentally, Yith has booked but Gadge hasn't.

Anyone know anything about that? Has he spit a dummy because we've charged him or just not available?

If no-one knows I'll drop him a line.

Heh! Taffy has just booked Nick (Airborne55) onto Husky as a present for helping him out with stuff on site.

Funny thing is, he gets £30 of that gift back in 6 weeks! ;)

Update re. Gadge - he is very busy at the moment with his harem. Apparently he has two girls on the go, at the same time. Both were at his house when Yith called round there on Saturday! :good:

Quick note about finances. Is the cash we have in Paypal or the banks account?

If it's in Paypal could you transfer it to the bank account for two reasons
a) we earn interest (small amount, but income nonetheless)
b) Paypal isn't a bank and it's unregulated - funds can disappear or be frozen at the drop of a hat. Should Paypal have any difficulties then the money is lost - no comebacks at all.
c) We are banking for free because banks earn money on deposited funds - if they think the account isn't being used sufficiently they are within their rights to withdraw the account.

In fact there is no need to keep any cash in Paypal at all as you have probably set up a draw down arrangement whereby if you make a Paypal expenditure it will get tugged from the bank a/c automatically.

I'm going to open up five extra places for each side, unless anyone objects....

That's cool - Di isn't sure if she can make it, I did ask that she books one place for the lads with you and exchanges the other with Ramsey. As she has paid for both she might already have asked Ramsey for the exchange to be her place. Have to wait 'til she gets home from work...

Nice one - my Paypal account was hacked a couple of weeks ago, no idea how it was done but $200 was removed without my authorisation. Paypal was not forthcoming on what went on but just marked it as 'resolved' and refunded cash.
