Dave, you mentioned somewhere else that you were going down to X-Site for a visit. When is this planned for? Need to get it booked in the diary asap! 
Not sure, date by mutual agreement I suppose. But we do need another site visit - I'd like to see the site with vegetation growth and try and get a cohesive game plan sorted. At the moment I'm all over the place, so many ideas, so many possibilities!
Clearly the Allies are not just having a fight with the Axis - there will be an element of competition between Brits and Yanks.
SS weren't on Sicily at all (or indeed in Southern Italy AFAIK) so Axis can be made up of Italians (we have one so far but that's without any encouragement or prompting), Heer, Fallshy, Lufty plus Fascist sympathisers for a civilian element.
An interesting twist could be to have civilian Fascists and Resistance fighting on the relative sides.
Good missions for double agents and undercover operatives.

Yes,complicated though as civi's would need to be identified somehow else it will be a free-for-all instead of an organised war. I just thought that as there were no SS then anyone without an alternative uniform would still have an opportunity to play. Frankly, the trick will be to make best use of the site with a simple (and simply working) scenario. Still, all to be thrashed out...
Recon 25-a-side max - should be do-able, 10 Brits, 15 US, 10 Panzer/Heer/Italian, 10 Fall/Luft, 5 civis.
We could say SS are OK but as it's workable without then it will keep the authenticity without peeing too many peeps off.
Coolio. Maybe red and green armbands for civvies but that could be a little ghey.

I'd like to give the scenario writing a crack on this one. After the site visit I have a holiday to Germany booked for July, so I could get it done before then and tweak on my return.

Or this weekend and there will then be a whole extra month to sort the game and we can get the booking thread up quicker - I'm of the opinion that sooner rather than later is better.
Next open day is May 18th

Not for me, this weekend is fully booked already.
Afraid I cant do any of the remaining weekends in May, or anything in June (and Guy snaffled one of those weekends for A2C lol ) - earliest I could do is July.

We can open booking with an outline story anyway and deal with the nuts and bolts later.

Stephen - Guy and me are going to site this Sunday.
We aren't usurping or bypassing you, it's just that we are free and so can save a month of inactivity and be well prepared. The 14/15th June is the weekend after Guy's big event and I dare say a following weekend off would be nice (now that he is working again 
) and I know I would like one too, if it's at all possible.

In last weeks thread you reckoned you'd be availalble, and it's an open day . I won't get time between now and the end of June to go again , with A2C and new job . Chommers is keen ot get some photos for the advertsing, since his camera failed last time , and we could do with keeping Taffy happy .
So no dramas on that score , it's all yours !
Note we do need to get a story and a booking thread going before the end June, as we normally open booking after the previous event .
