Got spare gear you're willing to loan out? Or, need anything to finish off your kit? Post it here!

(PLEASE try to keep this limited to kit specific posts folks! Pretty please!).

I'll start it off (all on a "bend it, mend it!" basis").

Brit lightweight gasmask bag.
Brit Ammo pouches.
Brit bandolier (modified for VSR or APS2 mags).
U.S M1911 holster (on a US pistol belt).
Black boots (size 9).
German jackboots size 9 - 10.
Leather jerkin.
Maroon beret (size 59-60).
Whistle.
Compass.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Complete German kit, including MP40. (I'm 5' 11", 40" chest, 36" waist, size 12 feet.)

Bend it, mend it, naturally.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

I have a friend coming from the US who will need to borrow pretty much everything.

We're using this pic as a reference:

Can anyone who's up on US webbing identify the belt order in this pic?

OK, I can see it now..

Isn't it British webbing? Beyond the obvious gun.

It's a 37 pattern belt & holster and I think the straps on his shoulder are a bergen, at least they look the same as mine. At first I thought the sling from his rifle was part of a harness, but I don't think he has any suspenders or cross straps.

Edit: No, actually it looks like he might be wearing brace adapters on his belt, so I'm not sure now.

I need to borrow an SMG and pistol for this event. Ideally an AGM Sten and Colt 1911 but any offers would be greatly appreciated.

I have my rig for Jedburgh set up exactly as per the picture Beds.

37' patt belt with brace attachments, Cross straps, small pack (on hip) 37 patt waterbottle in skele holster, 37 patt holster, US dual colt.45/Carbine pouch, US Officer Issue Binoculars in case. Brit Commando bergan on the back

Clothing wise.

Brit Para helmet
Brit Denny
Brit BD trousers (US M43s/Mustards for US Jed)
Brit Ammo boots with anklets / US Corcoran jump boots

I'm guessing you could switch out the left (or both) brace attachments for a universal ammo pouch, be good for keeping Sten/Thompson/MP40 mags in.

Kewl.

I've modified my setup since the training day, ditching anything that swings, bumps and rattles. So water bottle is now a P44 belt hung job and the resi bag is gone. If it don't fit in the Deni pockets or the Bergen it ain't coming along :D

Martin, where did you get your '44 bottle? I've been searching high and low, with no joy. (I used to have two but gave them away :slap:)

I didn't find a real one either. Mine is a repro 44 patt holder from Denbigh's for a fiver with a plastic cadet bottle/cup thing from the local hunting store (yes, we have a local hunting store in Surbiton); also a fiver.

Martin, are you now sorted for kit? If not I can bring a rubberised sheet, belt order pat 37 plus small pack on strap (sundry items, cup mess tins cooker, etc), Belgian denison, cap comforter, helmet, Thompson and mags.

Let me know as I will only bring if requested.

This is an open plea for batteries.

I spent the day skirmishing and am having battery nightmares. I think I have duff charger as my gun performs fine on everyone else's batteries, but mine never seem to work for more than 10 minutes. I am having them charged by a collegue, but I have also lost my large to small adaptor today so I could be down to 1 functional 1500 battery for the weekend. If anyone has a battery with a small connector capable of fitting in a Cyma Thompson then I would soooo appreciate the loan of it fully charged. I don't have time this week to get a new charger and test everything out.

For some reason I seem cursed on the battery front. I'm going bolt action after this event...
