It appears that once again I have just about succeeded in avoiding showing my face in any photograph! There is one- but that is slightly out of focus. 
Witness the 'dead' partisan (me) with a broad grin on my face as Heide dicks around like a pro drunk. Very funny.
I so need to get to one of your games, that looks unbelievably brilliant. You sure do lay it on thick don't you? 
So, is the 'death dive' a replacement to hand up and call hit then? Or were you all just posing for the cameras? 
The "death dive" was indeed a replacement for shouting hit and putting your hand up.

I just had to make a little animation of this sequence of pic's, its like a little chapter of Commando comic.

That's great!! They look posed!! How I wish I could have bayoneted someone!! I did manage to knife Lipton to death as he tried to medic Keith though.
It really was a wonderful moment.
What you don't see is the set up. 2 section moved up along the river. I crept up to look at the sentry box with my binos. I saw the partisan (actually SOE operative) walk past towards the sentry box. I didn't know if he was going to give us away or not.
As he got closer to the box I could see he was distracting the sentry, intentionally or not it was a good time to attack. So I signalled back to the section that they should go right away. They moved immediately and the rest you can see. Superb play by all. I especially love John's bayonet kill, I hadn't noticed him do that!
The German sentry did get off the alarm before he was shot so we had to move quick to the signals vehicle before the SS moved in to reinforce it.
