Always worth following for the 5 days prior to an event. Assume it's going to be cold and wet and you might get a pleasant surprise.

Snow showers saturday night? Enjoy!
proper mountain weather. nice.
Hmmm anyone got a few snow suits
Once again a consistant set of forecasts ranging from light snow to sunshine! I'll bring my snow camouflage and my tropical gear.
Yes, it's staggering isn't it. They have the most powerful computers in the world but they still just make it up!
I think you'll find the supercomputers are used to generate the fancy graphics in their tv slot, to disguise the fact that they just make it up.
Radio weather must be much cheaper then. They could make it up for all I know - does anyone actually listen to the radio weather forecast? I never have, after all these years. I'm say it the car and the forecast comes on. "Good" I think, "lets see what the weather will be". But after the first five seconds my mind has drifted off and every time the news starts I think "Damn, what the hell was the forecast? I could hear the words coming out of the radio but I still missed it." I never learn. Still, hardly matters - I just make it up myself, much more fun.
The old shipping forecast is much more fun.... Dogger, Fisher, German Bight...
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
There you go - more made up nonsense...
i heard a rumour of high winds for the weekend......... i hope not rain yes, snow yes, high winds noooooooooooooooo .
lol, last night it was rain all day, today all four of those links say bright sunshine all day.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
I agree Nige, the last thing we want is high winds. The forecasts don't say high winds though so fingers crossed.
Just your fingers!?
Don't tempts the wrath of the watsit from atop the thing. Cross everything. Though I think the leather Jerkin will be a deffo if the weather holds, and I will have to find my gloves...
i am worried that the magnificent sentry boxes will not be used. they wont stand up in high winds.......................

We'll get Keith to stand at the sentry box and shout at the wind - "YOU SHALL NOT PASS !!"
If Keith stands in it it won't blow over surely?
Heh.. the Heer garrison's job can be to hold the sentry boxes up.
if its really a problem, i few strategicly drilled holes and some guylines might be the way to go.
Yes good plan
