Always worth following for the 5 days prior to an event. Assume it's going to be cold and wet and you might get a pleasant surprise.

Once again a consistant set of forecasts ranging from light snow to sunshine! :slap: I'll bring my snow camouflage and my tropical gear.

Yes, it's staggering isn't it. They have the most powerful computers in the world but they still just make it up!

I think you'll find the supercomputers are used to generate the fancy graphics in their tv slot, to disguise the fact that they just make it up.

Radio weather must be much cheaper then. They could make it up for all I know - does anyone actually listen to the radio weather forecast? I never have, after all these years. I'm say it the car and the forecast comes on. "Good" I think, "lets see what the weather will be". But after the first five seconds my mind has drifted off and every time the news starts I think "Damn, what the hell was the forecast? I could hear the words coming out of the radio but I still missed it." I never learn. Still, hardly matters - I just make it up myself, much more fun.

I agree Nige, the last thing we want is high winds. The forecasts don't say high winds though so fingers crossed.

We'll get Keith to stand at the sentry box and shout at the wind - "YOU SHALL NOT PASS !!"
