Jimbo, you said somewhere it was OK to have a reasonable size fire. Have you got a pile of old gash pallets there or should people bring some to stave off the chill? Mind you a drop of rum should help.

As it goes there is some spare timber left over from the build of props. I'll have a chat with the range and see if we are allowed to dig a fire pit. The land will be ploughed over the day after we leave so there shouldnt be a problem, but bear in mind you are camping in a stubble field and it would be very bad to set light to it!
