Hi guys, its sandy and cold so here's a list of extra items worth bringing with you. This is not a list of basics :good:

Plastic bags and bungies for your guns....sand sand sand!!!
Rubber west german poncho's (very cheap and worth it) or similar to throw over kit if not to wear.
Spare boots and socks.
More spare socks oh and some socks too!!!
Hip flask for a tipple after battle.

DONTS.
Dont take your keys out into the Dunes with you!!!!
No Smoking inside any of the biuldings/structures.

This list can get added too as we go.

A chain saw? I was allowed to be cutting down trees on site?

There are a lot of felled and/or fallen trees on site. Last time at Candleston, someone had the clever idea to bring along a proper felling axe; but even then, getting the trunks into burnable sized logs was a time consuming and energy wasting ordeal!

It's getting dark very quickly and early, so bring torches/period torches/period lanterns!

Are the ponchos available on site? And how reasonable are they?

Metal detector - In your spare time out-of-game, if you want to find some items on the old WW2 British Army rifle range just North along the coast from the site. Bullets, cases, stripper clips, etc... can be found in the hundreds, maybe some buttons or cap badges if you're lucky ;-)
