As of today have just got my home-made hicap working and feeding perfectly so if I can get another one finished for Varsity we should be able to field a support gun with 1000ish rounds.
That means I'm going to need someone to carry it around (you get to shoot it too though) and I'll be the loader.
Anyone up for it?

1 Bren per section, with a No1 (L/Cpl) and No2.
(yup, one less than in an standard infantry battalion)...
What I'm trying to get at is that the No1... has rank...

Yup... No1 is the gunner, though you can swap roles... and the No1 is the L/Cpl.
That's one stripe on the right arm.
If you don't have the stripe then I do have some armbands available...

Sorry for causing the confusion. In a bid to rectify the situation I can confirm that the title of this thread should have read something like the following.
"Chap with Huge Gun seeks strong chap to be his No.1. Must enjoy shooting from prone."
But I thought that might get misconstrued.

I know kav I do think though its now time Airsoft Annie, had her own id its just getting so confusing 
funny at times working out who posted, but damn confusing 
Not sure if I'm up for lugging anything heavy around now - I hurt my back yesterday. As it stands at the moment, I would not be up for airsofting, but I'm fairly confident that it will be sufficiently recovered in a week's time. I have a weaknes due to a childhood accident (one vertebra slightly out of line), and the cumulative effect of working extra hours (sat at a screen) without taking a break (silly me), and then airsofting at Longmoor yesterday did it in.
More than happy to carry the ammo, though!
