Arnhem battle day. 25th oct, The Hill - Dundee,

Arnhem battle day lads,

this will be set up with two bridges,
US) one for the US to take and posh on into Arnhem, (from the tower to the safe zone wood)

UK) the main bridge at Arnhem, (from the safe zone wood to the top of the village)

Game Plan,,
US Airborne,, (with british infantry xxx corps),,
the US paras will be dropped at the secret bunker arear,
fight there way to the bridge at Nigmegen (tower/trenches)
cross the bridge and clear south of the Arnhem Bridge, (safe zone wood)
cross and link up with british paras in Arnhem town ( village)
BUT the US and british infantry will have to keep the Two bridges from being re-captured by the German forces,

Game plan,,
British paras/airlanding,,
brit paras will be droped at the northern sector, (VC base)
fight there way to Arnhem, set up a perimeter and defend there landing sites for resupply and re enforcements, (ridge fire base) (re-spawn arear)
once arnhem is secure, they will try to cross the Arnhem bridge south, and secure till XXX corps can link up smile.gif

German Game plan,
the germans will hold all inportant points,
once hit they will re-spawn and fight on,
counter attacking and trying to regain lost locations ,
as well as stopping xxx corps in there advance etc,

this may sound complicated and ye it is,, well kinda,
but with strong and well organised leadership it,l work out fine << well maybe, remember its war lads, smile.gif
but we,v dun this sort of "battle day"game befor and its fantastic,

i,l allso be getting in contact with the lads from POW so the turn out should be grate,
we need approx 15-20 brits, 20-25 germans and 15 US airborne,

i,l have german and UK lend out kit so let me know lads if you want to go german

we WILL be insisting on a good dress turn out, no DPM please,
so please help to make this a day to remember,

i,v kept this back as i,m getting some new additions for the site, so hopefully this will be set up in the town soon befor this date,

the offer still stands any player further afield are more than welcome to come up, camping is allways an option
