In some cases I agree with that policy but this time I feel Headshot is right.
The team of people up here that would have worked to pull this together have too many other projects and life issues to contend with this year.
I wasn't going to take it on as it was but due to some slight incentive recently I thought we could give it a go but it looks like not happening.
Porta & Tiny have their own business to run Alex has a big event in his life this year I will let him announce if he wishes and I am trying to move house.
To run this reasonably we need 4 people to give decent time to it, if there are any others in the North West or Midlands that fancy a go contact me.
I have tried to sort out the best all round date either 3/4th or 10/11th which would suit weather conditions and other WW2 events. 3/4th there is a big show in the South and 10/11th the Yanks event at Saddleworth, so it is a toss up between the two.
For the last 3 years I have tried to get more re-enactors involved in this area to inject new blood but it hasn't yet worked to a degree that we have sparked enough interest in them assisting more.
Maybe this event will be better timed for next year.

but I know how much hard work and time has to go into organising a game
would normally offer to help but i have committed to stuff this year with fireball for the the big weekender and some other bits , gutted was looking forward to it , i could maybe help more after july after i got this weekender done.
and you are right cuff even the more simple of events take a lot of effort that folks don't see, and how draining it can be
OK this is going ahead now have Prideofengland & Marsha as German leads, it will be weekend 10/11th Aug.
