It would be great to have you along fella. Wear whichever loadout you like although Heer is always good for everything. Scenario is very late war and the Partisans being typical Frenchmen dont give a hoot as long as they are blasting Jerries

It would be great if we all turned up the 'same'. I know the walk on peeps at Zero One were impressed when a group of us turned up in feldgrau recently, mix of Heer & SS.
Just a thought

I've only got Heer reg infantry or FG, I might go FG just to give Kroot a better target to shoot at.

Hi ZB, just to confirm I'll be down for this one. Waffen SS with MP44 cleaned and ready to help root out these troublesome frenchies.

Great stuff, I've got GZW this weekend, taking a team of 45+ so organising stuff is a bit of a 'mare. Once that's out of the way I'll be turning all my attention to this. STG has a new hop unit and a madbull tightbore barrel. Precision nastyness for the Frogs

That sounds like a pretty tasty upgrade, I'm pretty pleased with mine already, so I'll be interested to see how that performs, sounds like it should be the DB's. Also gonna check out Kroot's sten as I think that might be my next purchase for my Brit airborne loadout. 45 at GZW, I look forward to hearing about it, have a good weekend.

I hate to admit that Kroot's Sten is rather nice, but I'd rather my STG in a firefight. If only they did mid caps for it.

From what I can tell were pretty well stocked for Germans. May need more resistance/allies as this has clashed with an reenactment show

That's not to say we gonna go easy on the hun mind you!

I've been practising with WW2 food for this event and so far rissoles seem to come out the winner. Scotch broth for a soup, Rissols and Beans for main and bread pudding for those still hungry. You lot wont be able to move with that lot in yer :)
I think we're ok for numbers now, too many Germans and the French will collapse and surrender before they turn up :ghey:
Thanks for the offer and we're hoping to host another WW2 game at EAG in February so there will be more games down south next year :good:

It would appear we're running low on Frenchies / Partisans for this one (told you they were all spineless lol) If anyone local who has a partisan loadout and wants to attend, please give a shout out, you'll be welcome :)

Just a reminder to all participating, that we are still full steam ahead for this game, I've recruited some of my regs to bolster the partisans so there should be a fairly even spread between the sides. Lunch will be a change from the usual burgers that I do, with vegetable soup, corned beef rissols and beans and bread pudding for afters! Not only that but the forecast looks set for a good dry sunny day. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Jimbo

We have the much altered game plan finalised, with many thanks to Nexus. I dont think any of you will have played a game like this, but with a full schedule like you've got lined up for this skirmish, you'll be busy all day, that's for sure! Although it's Kroot's speshul day, the Free French forces will have to fight hard for the win, objectives have to be completed on time, and the Axis forces will do their best to ensure this does not go to plan.
Menu is sorted, Home made vegetable soup, followed by corned beef rissols and beans and the finale, home made bread pudding using home made bread! Yes my flat does smell like a bakery at the moment, the bread making machine hasnt been used so much in years
With a good forecast, and good company expected this is all looking to be a jolly nice day out :happydance:

With the kit you have could go as earlier kitted French forces or come as FFI . Bring it both and we can see what we can put together.

The French and it's Legion will fight for every inch(2.45cm) of ground
