Looking at the pics reminded me, I forgot to say, the 25pdr looked great
Thank you for a good day out, an excellent effort particularly for a first attempt. Also enjoyed the varied missions on the cards, particularly the ones which required sneaking and hiding.
Cheers
Martin

ta, something "tin" knocked up over a weekend in his garden much to his wifes joy lol , his next missions will be german based
cheers Martin was not sure if those type would be embraced or not , and was the most crushing part of the day for me , as we managed to really sneak around to take photos of your hq with few germans in ok and same for the village but just about in sight of the allied hq we got bumped by some of you and lost our contact bonus , was great and sad all at the same time
ok Photos added up here for folks to see and help yourself to any for your collection /facebook etc

now i had a sleep and rested , few lessons learned
1) dont leave as much to do on the morning as i did
2) better list of where the props needed to go
3) clearer mission orders on what is needed for them etc
4) enforce the squad side of things a bit more (which we let slide a little due to first or second ww2 game for quite a few players)
5) pack a better lunch a cheese and tomato sandwich from a garage was a bad idea
6) dont underestimate the germans , though you had 4 players more i believed local knowledge would win over
7) bacon sarnies when you get home tired and battered help make everything ok again
that all said i think it went fairly well , and can't fault the levels of play , if there was any incidents they have not reached my ears (though after all the bazooka firing etc my hearing just back to normal )
so thank you all for a great day's play
few photos to get you going ...

once again thanks to all those that came and for those that helped us out
Thanks to all of your guys effort was a most enjoyable day. Big congratulations to my mixed German unit made my last minute field promotion a pleasure to undertake and we took the day so well done
It was the first real try out of my flesh face mask, it worked OK but was really sweaty. It does make me look like a robot though! I'll maybe just keep it for CQB type sites as in fact Fireball wasn't as close in as I expected and I only took one burst in the face (friendly fire )
Cheers
